On August 31st it’s time to swing those hips on the dance floor!
For those who are not afraid to show some moves, those who love to explore and those who still have some funk in their blood.
We’ll be having two great bands who are going to collaborate for a special night!
Big Hare:
Big Hare serves a mad sound world that pushes the borders of music, and is a full escapade of happy experimentalism in a funky format
The Mood:
The Mood is an explosive organ/drums duo based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Diego Mocci (drums, vox), born in Italy, moved to Scandinavia in his teens where he studied and toured extensively.
Diego has worked with many bands through the years, some of them include Vibravoid (DE) The Lords Of Altamont (US), Bambix (NL), Atomic Workers (UK), Working Voodoo Club (NL), Zappatika (music by Frank Zappa, with touring guests like Ike Willis, Twister Stewart, Jeff Hollie).
Osman Meyredi (Organ/Piano, vox), also comes from Italy; he is a multi-instrumentalist and has been studying since an early age, graduating in classical studies.
Osman has been performing in both studio and live settings, with the likes of Indeepandance (with members from the Peter Gabriel band, Marlene Kuntz, Howie B, Negramaro, Eugenio Finardi), Zurawski Live Sound, Zappatika and the Hemstede Philarmonic Orchestra.
He also has been working in movie pictures as a “musician actor” in Vincere (M. Bellocchio), Lesson 21(A. Baricco), La foresta di ghiaccio (C.Noce).
With such creative and varied background, it’s truly impossible to describe The Mood music in one word.
The combinations of the different pieces come together in an explosive cocktail of original sounds and dynamics, with compositions that vary in textures and originality but still having the catchiness and appeal for both a mainstream and a non-mainstream crowd.
From 20:30 till 23:00 the doors will be open from 19:30.
